The Cliff & Bunting drawings should be viewed as “For Reference”only. The term “Check Before You Make” applies to these drawings. Before making each part you should look at all the other parts that are associated with the part you are making, to check for fitting, such as external/internal measurements, hole positions from a datum and hole centres.

The drawings are currently being redrawn in Cad and hopefully will remove all the known errors.

I built my Cliff & Bunting as per the drawings, less the errors, and found that everything fitted together. I have heard other builders complain about things not fitting and have come up with their own take on the drawings, made something incorrect and blamed the drawings for their errors. I can only conclude that they did not pick up errors, or, modified something that had other consequences further on.

The supplied boiler drawings do not meet the current AMBSC Code, however they are included to give you measurements for all the other parts associated with the boiler. We have a Briggs Boiler drawing, that meets the current AMBSC Code, which can be sent to you on request.

The regulator, and water pump shown on the drawings are bulky but will work OK, however there are regulators and water pump drawings available on request, or design your own based on the measurements in the drawings.

There are no two Cliff & Bunting’s exactly the same as builders change items to meet there own ideas, this is one of the joys of building a Cliff & Bunting, it allows you to modify items to suit your ideas.

I have run my Cliff & Bunting for some years now and it still runs as good as the first day.
